FPA Australia, Victoria Committee, is pleased to present a one-day workshop on Regulatory Maintenance and AS1851-2005.
This seminar provides participants an explanation of the new AS1851-2005 by specialists from the fire protection industry on how the latest Building Regulations and the new Fire Safety Maintenance requirements impact on Building Essential Services.
With the recent significant changes to the Victoria Building Regulations, Fire Protection Maintenance Standard AS 1851 and the BCA, this seminar provides an opportunity to understand the impact of the changes on buildings throughout Victoria.
Australian Standard 1851–2005 Maintenance of Fire Protection Systems and Equipment has undergone a complete revision, resulting in significant changes to the way fire protection systems and equipment must be inspected, tested and maintained.
This seminar will assist building owners and their agents, and fire protection contractors and practitioners in understanding the new AS1851–2005, how it is being implemented and what their obligations are.
