Fire Australia 2006 - Early Bird Registration

The Fire Protection Association Australia and the Institution of Fire Engineers invite you to participate in Fire Australia 2006, Australia’s premier exhibition and conference for the fire protection industry.

Fire Australia will explore the special fire safety challenges associated with the sporting, entertainment and leisure industry — a growing sector of the economy that presents both opportunities and risks for all those involved in planning, designing, conducting or hosting the wide variety of events that regularly form part of our community activity.

The Conference will see outstanding local and international speakers give presentations on a range of topics and issues including:

  • Hazard analysis and risk assessment for stadia, outside sporting events and a range of entertainment/leisure facilities.
  • International developments in codes and standards for major scale venues.
  • Problems and solutions surrounding the evacuation of mass gatherings.
  • Risks and responses for emergency crews at large events
  • New approaches to designing and managing sports and entertainment centres
  • New technologies to improve the welfare and safety of patrons.
  • Lessons from the past—answers and models for the future.
  • Exploring the legal ramifications for hosts and organisers.

To take advantage of the "Early Bird Rate" we must receive your registration form by close of business 1st September 2006, so to take advantage of this offer, fill out the registration form and return to the Fire Protection Association.
